These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AuthAnnie website at authannie.com (the “Site”) and our denial management platform (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Site or Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Use of the Service
The Service is designed for use by authorized representatives of physician practices and healthcare organizations. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
- Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
- Use the Service to submit fraudulent claims or appeals
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service
Intellectual Property
The Site, Service, and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by AuthAnnie and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights in our intellectual property.
Disclaimer
The Service provides tools to assist with denial management and appeal generation. AuthAnnie does not guarantee any specific outcome for individual appeals or claims. Appeal success depends on many factors including clinical documentation, payer policies, and applicable regulations. The Service is not a substitute for professional legal or medical advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthAnnie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Service, regardless of the theory of liability.
HIPAA Compliance
If you are a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, your use of the Service is subject to a Business Associate Agreement between your organization and AuthAnnie. The BAA governs our obligations regarding protected health information processed through the Service.
Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the Site or by email. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
